More and aarn. ——————————————————————— mmm, sniff that sharpie. deeeeelicious. tumblrbot asked: what is your earliest childhood memory?       i remember waking up from nightmares in my room while still sleeping in a crib, stifling my cries while watching shadows moving on the wall. probably due to specific reoccuring dreams throughout my life, i have many vivid memories of those dreams going back to age 3 or 4. when i was 13 or 14 and started reading about lucid dreaming methods i immediately started practicing. to this point, i feel i’ve honed my ability to control my dream reality fairly well, keeping a succession of setting evolutions and interacting with characters i bring in and out. when i experience dreams i’ve had since i was a kid, i’m enthralled by those that were once nightmares, now turned into playgrounds. most specifically is one were i’m trapped in a fun-house, full of small mirrored crawlspaces and dim lights, voices of people i know reverberating here and there.   i used to wake from it in a cold sweat or crying, feeling lost and overwhelmed with lonliness. i still dream that scenario, but now i can literally relax my physical self in those tunnels, i can lounge in the mirrors and enjoy the distant voices in comfort. sometimes if they’re especially close and i make the scramble for a notebook quick enough upon awakening, i can remember who i was listening to, and what they were saying. i love the exorcise!
